2/25/2023 0 Comments What's New at EVOSo much has happened since we wrapped up the SBM/RBF Project last summer. I was lucky enough to retire last June, just in time to give the rattery a complete overhaul ready for their return in July. The space was gutted, and painted, and the rats got updated cages, with all new enrichment. Thanks to a very generous donation, I was able to kit every cage with an Exotic Nutrition Wheel, and new ladders (Channel Drain Grates) that are easier to keep clean and sanitized. Since retiring I am able to concentrate on the rattery full time and start on some breeding projects. I am currently outcrossing the Black Eyed Siamese and Martens to Albino. The hope is to improve on overall health and vitality in the Black Eyed Siamese and we have already been successful in re-introducing both Black and Agouti to the Marten line. Now that I have more time I am able to offer transports in SC, GA and NC. The transports to Richmond VA also look to become a regular occurrence with enough interest. I am hoping to get a set route established, and do an extended transport at least once per quarter. Lastly, I wanted to share a video of the babies that are currently posted and available for reservations. Babies will be able to go to new homes once they are eight weeks old (March 25th), and the few young adults and retirees are available NOW! I am happy to schedule a Video Chat so that you can see the rattery and available rats. Contact Me to schedule one at your convenience. THANK YOU all for all your continued support and encouragement.
