BABIES....

BDR Diamond and her boyfriend ROAR Huck Finn gave me 11 beautiful babies to restart my agouti/dilute line.  I will be posting several that are available for adoption including some soft, wavy velveteens.

I had a lovely Mother's Day surprise with my Powder Blue Harley project line.  RROW Georgia On My Mind gave me 7 babies yesterday with 4 of them being Harley!!!  Georgia is ROAR King George II's Granddaughter, and I had no idea if she carried Harley or not, so this was a fingers crossed breeding back to her father, RROW Wilshire who is a guaranteed carrier and Georgie's Son.  I had started out with Georgie a glorious Seal Point Siamese Harley (my heart rat and RROW spokesrat), and a gorgeous standard coat true Powder Blue from Valentine Rattery, VAL Carolina Blue, my goal being to produce wonderfully fluffy Powder Blue Harley.  I am SOOO CLOSE!  There may be one in this litter!  Its so satisfying to have bred something myself from scratch.  

In other news:  RROW Monarch (Black Wedge Blazed Harley) x ROAR Valentina (Russian Silver Marble) - Tina looks to be ready to pop any second, I am hoping for some Marble Harleys!!!  

Monarch and Velvet pairing was unsuccessful so we are trying again with ROAR Armani (Dark Phase Pearl).  They seemed to hit it off well *wink*.  

RROW Pope x MAC Animation's first pairing was successful, but unfortunately the babies didn't survive.  We are trying again.

RROW Monarch x RROW Liberty (Russian Blue Wedge Blazed Berkshire) hoping their pairing was successful and hoping Liberty carries Harley, we will wait and see, if nothing else we should get some lovely wedge blazes, and who doesn't love a nice symmetrical wedge blaze, which they both have in spades.

So this post is text heavy and I know you like pictures.  I will endeavor to get some up in the next couple of days if the squeaks of new babies doesn't distract me too much!  Its almost impossible not to oooh and awww over them, so forgive me maybe?
