Some of you already know that I am passionate about essential oils, and use them extensively every day, including on my animals. Most pure essential oils are very safe to use on your animals as long as you are sure that you are not using fragrance oils or oils adulterated with synthetic fillers. Used appropriately, essential oils can be extremely beneficial to you and your animals health and wellness. I successfully addressed several health concerns in my dogs and rats using essential oils with my vet's blessing.
Tomorrow I am heading to the lavender fields in Mona Utah for a 2 day conference on Essential Oils and Animals. Please let me know if you are interested in finding out how essential oils can replace the chemicals we are encouraged to use on and around our animals every day. If anyone that has visited my rattery knows, my rats are healthy and my rattery is clean - no chemicals to harm my rat's sensitive respiratory system here!!
The first wave of available babies can start leaving the rattery as of May 1st, and with the heat of summer fast approaching if you wish to have any babies shipped to you, they must be scheduled to fly before the end of May. Pick ups in person will still be available during the summer months. Shipping will resume some time during late September early October once the weather cools off. Better safe than sorry!
Still a few babies left for reservation and I have readdressed pricing on Silvermanes. These are some really sweet babies that carry both dwarf and hairless genes.
I will be posting a just a few babies from Carolina and Georgie's litter before I head to Utah this weekend. They are going to be beautifully DARK Siamese - Pet homes only on this litter!!!
Monday brought SEVENTEEN new babies courtesy of Atlantis Rattery. Harleys and Martens and Downunders, Oh My!
The last of the current litters will be ready to go by May 17th and with the hot summer months fast approaching, they will be my last available for shipping until Fall. Rats will still be available for pickup.
My summer will be spent working on these new lines and building my pedigree database. In the meantime, I will have several young adult rats available for adoption. These are sweet guys and gals that were being held back but are being released for adoption. Pictures will be posted soon.
I'll keep this short and sweet, kinda like me really! Just a quick welcome to my new website, its a work in progress, and probably will be taking into consideration my OCD tendencies. I will be transitioning here from Facebook world, and sharing thoughts, views, pictures, videos etc., specifically for the rattery. Litters and available rats will be found here, they may get posted on Facebook if I have time, but I want to keep things neat (see above reference to OCD.)
I am also learning this whole process (website building, blogging, tagging, meta codes) so bear with me, if you have experience and feel like helping a sistah out, it would be much appreciated. Comments are open - ENJOY!!
